"Vor í Vaglaskógi"
This IS Kaleo's first ever music video! After getting so much Icelandic radio play in 2013, Davíð asked Eyk Studio to help them make a video. They all quickly got together and took only about a week to create the story, find a cast, shoot, and edit it (fun fact: this song is a remake of a 1966 Icelandic tune sang by Vilhjálmur Vilhjálmsson) |

"Rock 'n' Roller": Their second ever music video!
Released in November 2013 by (of course) the fabulously talented crew over at Eyk Studio |
"No Good" (Official Video) - Follows the band around with behind the scenes footage of and during their first US tour. The amazing visual artists over at Eyk Studio calls it "grungy".

"WAY DOWN WE GO" (Official Video)
|
"ALL THE PRETTY GIRLS": Largely filmed at Davíð's family's summer house, the beautiful landscape of Eastern Iceland around Lagarfljót, and Mývatn.
|
"No Good" - Recorded live at United Record Pressing in Nashville, directed by Shaun Silva. Song featured on the HBO® Original Series "Vinyl". Martin Scorcese and Mick Jagger heard an unfinished version of this song and wanted to use it for their show. JJ had 3 days to finish writing the song and get Kaleo to a recording studio in Pittsburgh. “One simply doesn’t say ‘no’ to Mick Jagger when he asks for one of your songs.” (fun fact: JJ is playing a Fender Telecaster in this video) Source: Iceland Magazine

"Vor í Vaglaskógi": 2016 Lyric video produced at the request of record company to show Icelandic scenery. "We went on a road trip around the country to film while simultaneously developing a concept for the video. It is definitely a documentary music video. Everyone in the film are real people we visited around Iceland while focusing on capturing them in their most natural environment."

LIVE recorded videos
Their friends at Eyk Studio really know how to showcase everything we didn't know we wanted about both Iceland and Kaleo at the same time. These videos are equally captivating in both cinematography and emotion, visually giving us all the feels:
"I Can't Go On Without You" - Recorded live during the winter at Búðarkirkja Church on the Snæfellsnes Penninsula in Western Iceland (fun fact: they originally had a bit of trouble getting inside because it was so cold that the door had frozen shut!)
|
"WAY DOWN WE GO": Live performance recorded 120m down inside þríhnúkagígur, located in the Bláfjöll mountain range. Took about 26 hours to execute from start to finish.
|
"Save Yourself": Gear powered by two generators on boats nearby, with power lines running underwater. Rain forced strings players to drop out of the shoot, and iceberg was in motion. Spent 22 hours filming one day in June 2016.
