CURRENT TOUR
(interview from 28 Apr 2016)

“To be honest, we called it ‘The Payback Tour’ because we’re actually working our way out of debt,” Júlíusson said. “We’re a big band with two tour buses and a truck, so it’s challenging, but we’re making steps in the right direction. COVID didn’t help and obviously we feel like artists should be getting paid more in every aspect of the game, so I hope that environment changes soon. We’re happy to be back on the road and playing for the fans.” (from WTOP news interview)
LOL so basically we're lucky that we're even getting a new album out this year, but forget your concert tickets until next year...

2020

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, this year has officially been a letdown for us fans. The new Surface Sounds album has been delayed from a summer release to an end-of-year release. Fight or Flight tour dates were rescheduled to 2021, with some shows being completely cancelled. WE WANT MORE!

2016
This was a busy year for Kaleo! They basically were on tour all year, but in the meanwhile also managed to record an album, play a bunch of festivals, go back home, shoot a couple of music videos, do secret shows in secret spaces and and threw in a few small office concerts for fun...
From Billboard: "Kaleo makes its maiden voyage on Top Rock Albums, Alternative Albums and Americana/Folk Albums, as A/B, the Icelandic quartet's first record since signing to Elektra/Atlantic, begins at No. 4 on the former chart and No. 3 on the latter two (17,000). The set's lead single, "Way Down We Go," rises 6-5 on Alternative Songs, while its harder-charging Vinyl theme "No Good," also from A/B, lifts 18-17 on Mainstream Rock Songs, returning to its peak."
