There is so much that goes into making a music video, or going on tour, in concert behind the stage, or even afterwards. Here's a small glimpse into that side of life...

"VOR Í VAGLASKÓGI" (2013): A road trip filming Icelandic scenery to develop a concept turned into an official music video. Learn more about the song here
Are the people in the most recent "Vor í Vaglaskógi" lyric video actors, or are they actually who you are showing them to be (for example, is the girl actually a dancer? Are the boatmen actually fisherman?)
"It is definitely a documentary music video. Everyone in the film are real people we visited around Iceland while focusing on capturing them in their most natural environment. Some of them were strangers, while others, like the dancer, are family members and relatives." (from interview with Hörður Freyr Brynjarsson and Pétur Már Pétursson of Eyk Studio) |
"WAY DOWN WE GO" (2015): Live performance recorded 120m down inside þríhnúkagígur, located in the Bláfjöll mountain range. It took about 26 hours to execute from start to finish. Learn more about the song here
"In order to get down to the volcano cave you have to take a small elevator that only fits about 4 people. Therefore, it took a great deal of time to get all of the equipment, band and crew in position. The acoustics inside the cave were very unique and it was difficult to find your footing on the rocks. We wound up spending over 25 hours on this project."
